Youth Services

Multicultural Youth Services (MYS) has provided services to young people of migrant and refugee backgrounds in the ACT, their families and their communities since 2002.

Services include direct one-to-one support, group sessions, life skills development, family relationship support, community activities including social, recreational and sports, as well as community development for young people and their communities.

​

MYS provides outreach to young people in schools and colleges as well as a drop-in centre and holiday programs.

​

MYS values the views and contributions of young people and has initiated programs together with young people addressing unemployment, homelessness and isolation.

MYS is part of Queanbeyan Multilingual Centre which manages migrant and refugee services in Goulburn, Cooma, NSW Far Sth Coast - Bega, and Queanbeyan.
